From now until 1 January 2020, celebrate all things chocolate at the award-winning buffet restaurant, The Market, with the myriad of sweet and savoury chocolate dishes created in collaboration with legendary Belgium Chocolatier, GODIVA.
Gourmets and chocoholics can savour an indulgent chocolate feast with the finest and most vibrant collection of chocolate dishes, including highlights such as Strawberry and Arura Salad with Chocolate Vinaigrette, Chilli Chocolate Steak, Grilled Grass-fed Lamb Chop with Cumin Chocolate Sauce, Braised OX Tail with Sherry Chocolate Sauce, Roasted Chicken Drumstick with Spiced Cocoa Sauce and Chocolate Deep-fried Fish Fillet.
Make room for dessert as ‘The Durian Prince’, Hotel ICON’s Executive Pastry Chef Danny Ho has done it once again with his creative durian inventions. He will be showcasing his newly created and all-you-can-eat GODIVA Durian White Chocolate Soft Serve along with GODVIA Dark Chocolate Soft Serve, while also featuring the all-time favourites including Homemade Durian Ice Cream, Durian Pandan Roll, Durian Cheese Tart, Deep-fried Durian Roll and Deep-fried Durian Ball, perfect for the sweet-toothed.
The extensive chocolate spread will be showcased in addition to the much-adored selection of sizzling Asian specialties, Christmas specials, and favourites such as Roasted Turkey with Roasted Brussels Sprout, Glazed Chestnuts, Apple Stuffing, Braised Cabbage, Mashed potato, Roasted Potatoes, Honey Yam, Buttered Broccoli and Carrot, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Alaskan King Crab Legs, Laksa Lemak, Braised Snake Soup with Black Fungus, Crispy Puff, Lemon Leaf and Chrysanthemum. Highlighted desserts include Warm Christmas Plum Pudding with Vanilla Custard, Cinnamon Mince Pie, Chocolate Yule Log Cake, Classic Italian Panettone and Homemade Durian Ice Cream, available at The Market’s award-winning buffet for a month.
