Following the success of last year’s lobster promotion, our Executive Sous Chef Marc Briol has decided to bring guests’ all-time-favourite legendary lobster specialties back to Grand Café this summer, but with different creations and for two months only.
With the Atlantic lobsters around Maine and Nova Scotia feeding in the warmer waters of April and May, they have reached the peak of their season by June. Sweet and juicy they are fully grown into their shells in this season and in the best state of the year.
Grand Café is working with fisherman in Maine directly, so we are able to get these sustainable lobsters fresh from the boat to our door three times per week.
Discover and begin your lobster night at Grand Café with highlights such as the classic vol au vent, the traditional French lobster stew, the Japanese Gunkan-maki with seven spice mayonnaise, lobster mac and cheese and the not-to-be-missed Berliner sandwich with lobster ice cream.
Vol au vent
Kick off your lobster evening with this classic Western appetizer with creamy cocktail dressing and crispy puff pastry stuffed with lobster meat. It offers a smooth, creamy texture complementing the light and flaky texture of the pastry.
Creamy lobster chowder
Here is another traditional French starter that is rich in seafood flavour. It is a thick, creamy soup with the full essence of lobsters.
Lobster Gunkan-maki with seven spice mayonnaise
Calling all sushi lovers! Lobster Gunkan-maki topped with seven spice mayonnaise will be served à la minute at our sushi station, a visually pleasing and palate-satisfying treat.
Lobster mac and cheese
Mac and cheese is a classy comfort food that is freshly baked, offering a crispy, golden pastry crust filled with mouthful of creamy lobster. A dish that is definitely not to be missed.
